I was the most eligible bachelor in the whole coop

I had the shiniest feathers and the most crimson crown

The hens used to cluck and swoon after me

Now I am just the neighbourhood asshole

Who wakes up everybody before dawn

But those people don’t know the old me

You should have seen me then

Should have heard those hens clucking.
